Marsala House

In the Casa Marsala project, as this residence on the banks of the Guaíba River in a condominium in the city of Eldorado do Sul, in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, was named, dialogue with nature was one of the premises. The complex, on the edge of a navigable canal, was designed to combine the building itself, the water and the gardens, reducing its impact and making it an artifact in the landscape, according to the architects of Stemmer Rodrigues Arquitetura, Paulo Henrique Rodrigues, Ingrid Stemmer and Roberto Stemmer.

With 412 square meters, the residence has large openings to give the feeling that the gardens surrounding the house permeate the internal environments. In the social area, the absence of pillars where the sliding doors meet allows the VEKA PVC frames to integrate, almost invisibly, the interior and exterior.

The facade, marked with two blocks, one in concrete and the other in marsala. This tone, in addition to standing out against the predominant green of the surroundings, also represents the identification of the owners with the house from their passion for wine.

The two volumes are complemented by wooden structures, in the brise soleil and in the panels that protect the entrance door, extending into the interior of the room. In harmony with the natural wood, VEKA PVC frames in walnut color were used.
