Net Zero 2030 Challenge

Net Zero Challenge is a meeting space that will have as its center a student contest where teams of students from different careers related to construction will participate, who will learn about technologies and methodologies to design innovative housing prototypes that incorporate and help in the path to achieve carbon neutrality in Chile by 2050.

During May and June VEKA Chile participated in different talks organized by Desafío Net Zero 2030, where in the first opportunity (May 4) a webinar was held, where topics such as housing issues, how to be more efficient and sustainable, improving the quality of the planet and the quality of life of the future inhabitants of these spaces, and much more were addressed.

In the second opportunity (June), Beatriz Matamala, technical manager VEKA Chile and quality manager VEKA LATAM presented: "VEKA Chile we care about the environment, we act and grow with the best PVC profiles".
